IQ tests English-speaking, Western-context lives के लिए बने। वे उस gifted adult को नहीं देख पाते जो Bhojpuri में सोचता है, जिसने formal education जल्दी छोड़ दी, जिसकी genius workshop, shop, farm या family business से दिखी — degree से नहीं। इसलिए हम test नहीं करते। हम recognise करते हैं — life की shape से।
Gifted adulthood decades में दिखती है: relentless curiosity, आसान से boredom, intensity जिसे दूसरों ने "too much" कहा, तेज़ और अकेले सीखना। Evidence तुम्हारी अपनी history है — honestly पढ़ी।
India में brilliance अक्सर mother tongue में आती है, mechanical या commercial instinct में, argument और improvisation में — exam ranks में नहीं। हम सोच की depth देखते हैं, जिस भाषा और रूप में भी आई हो।
Conformity, joint-family expectation, "log kya kahenge," और topper की पूजा gifted Indians को छिपने पर मजबूर करती है। उससे friction अक्सर clue है, character flaw नहीं।
Adults के लिए सबसे reliable signal वो jolt है जब देखा जाए — जब कोई description आखिर fit हो। ये checklist वही शीशा है। Giftedness समझने वाला professional बाद में confirm और deepen कर सकता है।
ये self-assessment reflective tool है, clinical या psychological diagnosis नहीं। Adults में giftedness जटिल है और अक्सर दूसरी traits से overlap करती है। अगर resonate करे तो अगला कदम reading, community, और — चाहो तो — qualified professional से बात।
